Account Manager - South

Bristol   •  £37000 - £47000 per annum, Benefits: 25% Bonus + car  •  Permanent, Full time


We are currently looking for an Account Manager - South to join a leading Analytical Instrumentation and Chemistry Consumables company with offices Globally, including 2 in the UK. As the Account Manager - South you will be responsible for selling a market leading portfolio to customers across big Pharma, academia or Biotech, with the aim to maximise sales across the South East, South West and Wales.

Our client supports customers across Academia, Pharma, Industry and more, and aims to provide innovative separation and chemical synthesis solutions and are dedicated using their expertise to solve customer needs.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your duties as the Account Manager - South will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:

Selling Laboratory Consumables, Chemicals, Reagents and Instruments across Academic, Biotech, Pharma and Industry accounts. Your territory will include the South West, South East (excluding London) and South Wales.

Manage and further develop the current territory whilst maintaining strong client relationships. Conduct demonstrations and train customers on how to use the products

Identify and develop new customers through proactive prospecting.

As the Account Manager - South you will be responsible for delivering hands-on demonstration of instruments and related products

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Account Manager - South we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:

1. Degree in a Science subject, such as Life Science, Biology, Biochemistry or Chemistry, as well as a full UK driving licence.

2. Proven industry experience in an Account Management, Sales, Business Development or Application Specialist role would be highly beneficial but not essential.

3. Experience working within a laboratory setting using chemistry consumables, separation technologies, analytical instrumentation, assays etc.
