My client is a big international player that is been expanding heavily. Their division in Leiden is investing a lot in R&D and they are focusing new green chemistry. This area has huge opportunity for growth in the coming years, making it a good moment to join the team and develop with the division.
In this role you will be the toxicological specialist supporting the regulatory team and help with the registrations for Biocidal products and active substances. Since the R&D pipeline is looking strong, you will be able to work on developing long-term strategies for the portfolio. Further you can expect to travel up to 15% of you time in Europe to meet different regulators for advocacy purposes and discuss with trade associations. On top of this you will be developing toxicological testing plans to support the regulatory team and monitor the GLP studies in combination with preparing human health risk assessment and advising customers were needed.
This all makes it a senior specialist role where you will interact with multiple stakeholders internal and externally and have enough variation on daily basis. The products are mainly biocidal ones. But the client can also be open for Senior toxicologists with REACH and/or Agrochemical experience, looking to work with Biocides.
To be successful:
* Strong experience with toxicology and risk assessments
* Biocidal registration experience ideally (REACH and/oragrochemical registration experiene can be considered)
* Good communications skills
