Are you looking for your next move in the scientific industry? If so we would love to hear from you! We are currently working with a analytical laboratory based in Greater Manchester who are recruiting for a Asbestos Supervisor to join them on a full time permanent role.
Our client provides environmental analytical services predominantly of soil and ground water samples. Their labs are UKAS and IS0 9001 accredited and they have an excellent record of delivering analysis on time.
The successful candidate will supervise staff and ensure all tasks are completed on time. You will also be responsible for training asbestos analysts, and carrying out technical work where required this will include method development and validation. You will investigate any non conforming work and oversee the completion of monthly asbestos samples.
The successful candidate must be P401 qualified and have relevant experience working in a UKAS accredited lab. You will have experience managing and growing a successful team along with being a strong team player and able to meet tight deadlines. P403 qualification would be desirable.
This role offers a salary of 24,000- 26,000 depending on experience.
