Steve Lord is recruiting for an Associate Manager in Clinical Operations (Oncology) to join a global Pharmaceutical company at their site based in Hertfordshire on a contract basis.
As an associate manager (clinical operations) you will be contributing to one or more Oncology studies to ensure that milestones and deliverables are met in line with the agreed quality standards and timelines and to ensure that data quality is acceptable and suitable for regulatory submission. You will ensure that the monitoring of studies by external vendors is executed according to ICH/GCP guidelines, applicable regulatory requirements and company standard operating procedures. You will typically be managing 3 trials at one time, mostly phases II and III. The trials are multi-country (3/4 countries) with emphasis on European sites.
The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
-Clinical Trial Management (management of multicountry study as regional lead)
-Clinical Trial Execution (coordinate, oversee and monitor study progress)
-Document creation and management (management of study documentation)
-CRO/vendor management (point of contact for CRO management, involved in assessment and selection, and oversight of activities
-Resource management, financial management
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
-BS/MS in relevant field
-Experience in clinical operations methods and processes within an industry setting whether that be for pharma or CRO.
-Multi country study management experience (ideally 3-4 countries and European preferred)
-Therapeutic area experience within Oncology, (awareness of current anti-tumour therapies, familiar with tools such as RECIST criteria tumour assessment, NCI Common Toxicity Criteria).
