Medical Affairs Manager

Berkshire ideal for someone residing in locations that include Wembley, Hayes, Windsor, Reading, Maidenhead, Watford, Slough, Hemel Hempstead, Bracknell, Twickenham, West London, Middlesex and parts of Hertfordshire

Circa 100,000 per annum (candidates seeking more or less may also be considered)
Plus car allowance, healthcare, pension and bonus

Therapy areas;
Cross therapeutic including Nephrology, Neurology and Oncology

Ideal applicant;
Our client requires a final signatory pharmacist with line management experience who either resides within a commutable distance or is willing to relocate. Additional requirements include;
- Proven background within medical affairs
- Excellent, progressive and stable career background
- Up to date and excellent understanding of changing UK healthcare environment
- Excellent prioritisation, organisation and project management skills
- Proven experience of developing business plans and budget management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

Job role;
Reporting to the Medical Director, the successful Medical Affairs Manager will be responsible for the provision of operational managements and leadership to the Medical Affairs Team, key responsibilities include;
- Work closely with the medical and commercial colleagues acting as point of contact for medical affairs team strategy
- Lead, manage and develop Medical Affairs Team including MSLs and Medical Advisors
- Selection and recruitment of further team members Assists with new trial selection in UK with Clinical Operations Team
- Ensure Medical Affairs Team provide accurate and non-promotional information to customers
- Act as a final signatory, where appropriate, to provide review and copy approval of all materials ensuring compliance
- Budget management
- Support team for long-term business relationships with KOLs
- Ensure legislation, Ethics committee, SOP and GCP requirements and code of practice are fulfilled
