Product Marketing Manager - Life Sciences - Buckinghamshire

This Global role will see you responsible for aligning market insights with technology trends to assist Product Management in product planning and optimising commercial execution through development of marketing and launch plans in coordination with Regional Product Marketing. In addition, you will identify and develop opportunities for growth and market share gain. This position creates a global product/portfolio strategy for two key product lines: Western Blotting and Human Identification and Forensics.

Core responsibilities as Product Marketing Manager - Life Sciences - Buckinghamshire

* Perform market trend analysis, market share, competitive analysis and win/loss tracking to identify product and commercial strategies for growth
* Build a global market requirements document that prioritises customer segments and business opportunities
* Identify and assess market and distribution risks, and develop a plan to mitigate those risks
* Orchestrate research to assess market and customer environments and to discover unmet needs, buying cycles and personas. Identify customers' clinical and economic needs, values and desired benefits
* Work closely with Region Product Marketing, Product Management, Engineering and Global Design to provide input to the product development roadmap and to develop, test and prototype new product ideas
* Develop a plan and budget for evidence generation to support selected NPI's and installed base products
* Define brand (naming & trademarks), value proposition(s), and competitive positioning claims roadmap for new and existing products
* Develop and manage budget needed to execute marketing plan, and ensure timely implementation of programs in marketing plan

REQUIREMENTS
In order to apply you should meet all or most of the following criteria:

* Degree qualified or higher in Molecular Biology with a thorough understanding of its associated techniques
* Marketing qualification would be desirable but not essential
* Must have a deep marketing expertise in market and customer insights, commercialisation and branding
* Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills
* Excellent at providing context, driving appropriate analyses, and making thoughtful, clear and actionable recommendations
* Excels at working cross-organisationally, aligning multiple stakeholders and teams across product lines
* Strategic thinker
* Driven self-starter
* Happy to work 3-4 days in the office

REMUNERATION
Package includes:

* Basic salary up to £55,000, depending on experience
