Business Development Executive

Summary / Heading
A leading healthcare market research agency with a global client base is looking for a Business Development Executive to develop new business for the company as well as re-establish lapsed or lost client business

You will be utilising excellent communication skills gained within a previous business development or sales role to contact new targets, create market presence and promote the offerings of the agency.

You will be working closely with the Business Development Manager to develop long term business relationships with both previous and new clients and will also work with the Head of Sales and the MarComms department to develop and deliver targeted marketing campaigns.

Role / Description
Main Job Responsibilities:
To cold contact new targets and re-establish relationships with previous clients.
Proactively build lists of suitable pharma/healthcare targets.
Secure a minimum of one selling appointment per week for pitching new business.
Work with sales/marketing teams to develop marketing campaigns.

Candidate Requirements:
2 years plus previous business development or sales experience.
Exceptional communication skills.
Advanced Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Experience of working well under pressure.
