Victoria Walker is recruiting for a Supply Chain Project, Product and Program Manager to work within a consumer supply chain environment for a multinational consumer services organisation. The Supply Chain Project, Product and Program Manager will be working at the site in Maidenhead, Berkshire on a 9 month contract basis. This client is offering an opportunity to be involved in pioneering projects that are truly making a difference to peoples lives everyday, worldwide.
The main purpose of the Supply Chain Project, Product and Program Manager role will be responsibility for leading projects in the EMEA Region. The scope of projects will include BCPs, Remediation work, Formulation work and Regulatory updates. Composition of project teams is cross-functional (e.g. R&D, Marketing, Operations, etc.), cross company and may include outside development partners. The Project Manager is responsible for delivering project scope and accountable for managing risk, timelines and ensuring project processes and standards are followed. The Project Manager may be aligned to several brands and Global Business Units and is responsible for communicating project progress and impact of change, deployment and coordination of project resources, and the overall project. The company offers a rate of up to £20-26 per hour, depending on experience and contract type, for 37 hours' work per week.
Further responsibilities of this Supply Chain Manager role will include:
-Lead overall project activities and accountable for achieving project goals on time and within the agreed budget.
-Have full responsibility for project development and implementation, including:
· Project Definition
· Project Planning
· Assuring Operational readiness
· Leading cross functional teams through each phase of the project(s)
· Co-ordinating all activities to ensure project(s) remains on track
· Monitoring and managing risks and opportunities
· Estimating, reporting and delivering agreed financials
· Liaising, agreeing, involving and communicating all aspects of the project with senior management
-Lead Process & Governance
-Enable the fluid process and Sign-off across the EMEA areas of disciplines.
-Lead, Identify, communicate, and resolve key issues with executive sponsors or key managers.
-Provide ongoing status communications to all levels of the organization.
In order to be considered for this Supply Chain Project Manager role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
-Must have Previous FMCG NPD project management experience.
-Expert in MS Project as well as sound PowerPoint and Excel skills
-Bachelors or equivalent in Physical Sciences, Engineering, Business & Marketing, or appropriate related field
-Proven industrial experience in Supply Chain as well as experience managing cross-functional expertise (R&D, Franchise Marketing, Packaging development, Procurement).
-Product knowledge is a must have.
-Experience of delivering Projects in an OTC capacity
-Experience with leadership and conflict resolution skills
-Broad business acumen with knowledge of project related finance
-Fluent in English - oral and written
