Mechatronics and Robotics Technical Consultant - Cambridge

Such an exciting and challenging role has been signed off for a technical expert to work on industry defining mechatronics and robotics technologies. Based in Cambridge, you will work on the invention of band new mechatronic and robotics technologies that will improve peoples lives around the world.

Working within a team of engineering experts, including mechanical designers, electronics engineers, physicists and other complex technologies specialists. What we are looking for in a Mechatronics and Robotics Technical Consultant is someone with electro-mechanical systems design exposure.

Your experience in electro-mechanical systems design will be vital for a number of mechatronics and robotics technology projects. Your design skills will be used for the development of drive systems, motor technologies, robotics and other related fields for both automated and controlled systems.

You will need to have had a good amount of industry experience on 3D CAD, ideally Pro-E or SolidWorks, however the electro-mechanical development of mechatronics or robotics is more important than the specific CAD software.

The technologies you will help develop could range from small automated devices to help with day to day activities through to manufacturing plants that streamlined the production and logistics processes. No two projects will be the same and you will be challenged daily.

It is expected that you would hold a degree within a related field along with a number of years industry experience with a successful track record of mechatronics or robotics projects.
