Technical Support Scientist Supervisor - Birmingham
A developing life sciences company, based in Birmingham, are currently looking to recruit a Technical Support Scientist Supervisor due to internal promotions.
You will be heading up a team of around six Technical Support Scientists, who deal with scientific investigations and complaints for internal and external clients.
From time to time, your team will escalate complex problems to you. Due to this, you will need to have worked in a laboratory in the past, ideally on In-Vitro diagnostics or assay development. However, if you have large exposure to other life sciences fields we would still be interested to speak with you.
The line management, development and support are important in this role, so past management, team leadership or supervisor experience is essential. Along with this, any experience working in a Technical Support Scientist role yourself will be advantageous, this could be via the phone or face to face work.
It is expected that you would hold a relevant life sciences degree, maybe in biochemistry, immunology or another subject that would have resulted in In-Vitro diagnostics or assay development in a laboratory.
