What will the role of Cross Sectional Imaging Lead Radiographer (Specialist Radiographer / Radiology Team Leader) entail?
As a Specialist Radiographer / Radiology Team Leader you'll take a lead role in providing expert cross-sectional imaging procedures within your department, ensuring colleagues deliver a high level of service and quality care to both patients and consultants.
What will I need in order to be considered for the Specialist Radiographer / Radiology Team Leader role?
Proven experience working within an imaging department
A BSc honours degree in Radiography or equivalent qualification
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and individually
Competence across a range of imaging skills supported by professional and specialist knowledge
IT literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant packages e.g. RIS or PACS
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Flexible approach to work and working patterns
CT / MRI scanning and other radiography roles
Working in partnership with consultants and participating in creating innovative solutions for new services
Supporting the commercial development of the specialism locally
What will I receive in return?
Specialist Radiographer / Radiology Team Leader Salary Band: £35,000 to £37,500
