Technical Support Associate-Biochemistry-Oxfordshire -£23k-£27k - French - Protein - Customer Service

A global biotechnology company require a Technical Support Associate to join its Oxfordshire site. Your role will be to provide first-line technical support for inbound customer queries throughout the EMEA territories by offering exceptional customer service by phone, email and on-line chat. You will be a life science graduate with previous customer service experience. French language skills would be desirable but not essential.

The Role:

*Be the point of contact for "live-chat" and incoming technical enquiries by telephone, liaising with customer service and technical service specialists as required
*Answer any technical questions where answers are readily available
*Advising customers on suitable company products using effective questioning techniques to identify specific customer needs
*Provide bulk quotations to customers and distributors after liaising with the sales teams
*Manage the tender process - compile all information required within the stipulated timeframe
*Provide feedback to internal teams on relevant customer information, including any updated information which might be relevant surrounding key accounts, and/or competition, etc
*Working with sales team to ensure opportunities flow through the system
*Updating and continually expanding CRM system with accurate information

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications

*BSc. or equivalent in a Life Science subject
*Excellent IT skills
*Fluent written and spoken English is essential
*Fluency in French is not a requirement but would be beneficial
*Working in a customer/sales focussed environment desirable
*Experience of working with CRM platforms desirable
