Steve Lord of CK Clinical is recruiting for a Contracts Manager to join a CRO specialist based at their site in West Sussex on a permanent basis.
The primary purpose of the role is to develop and maintain all contracts related activities for use in clinical studies. You will be working with senior management, legal partners, and sponsors on developing contract agreements for each study, including work orders, change orders, templates and guidelines, where appropriate.
The main purpose of the role will be to:
-Develop and maintain site templates for use in studies
-Negotiating site contracts, budgets and payment schedules, preparing the initial agreements and then maintaining regular contact with the sponsor and the site to finalise the Agreement;
-coordinating activities with project managers and clinical research associates, ensuring that consistent quality driven processes are used and that we learn as an organisation from these activities and can more efficiently capture and transfer this knowledge from study to study;
-develop and maintain national budget and cost databases;
-report on the status of all contract negotiations being carried out on a monthly / ad hoc basis and proactively identify and manage contract related issues;
-work with senior management, legal partners (where agreed with senior management) and sponsors on the development of the master service agreements, work orders and change orders needed for each study.
In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
-Experience in (current or recent) a CRO or pharma industry
-Development and maintenance of contract related activities for clinical studies
- A strong administrator and good organiser with a natural ability to plan and organise self and work in order to achieve objectives and targets
-Good communications skills - able to influence and negotiate contracts.
-Any European experience would be useful.
