QA Specialist - Hertfordshire

Hertfordshire   •  £18 - £20 per hour  •  Contract/Temporary, Full time

Kate Edwards at CK Science is recruiting for a QA Specialist to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry at their site based in Hertfordshire on a contract basis for 6 months (this may be extendable).

You will be responsible for:
Batch testing data approval in accordance with all relevant regulatory requirements, communication with various stakeholders and third parties.
To represent in QA matters during Regulatory and customer audits.
QA approval of procedures, methods and related specifications and related analytical documentation.
Auditing of other sites and third party suppliers to ensure adequate control and quality oversight of services supplied for the business.

In order to be considered for this role, you will be required to have the following qualifications, skills and experience:
Degree (or equivalent) in Biochemistry, Chemistry or related discipline or qualified by experience.
Demonstrated expertise in Quality Audit (QA) activities relating to a Quality Control (QC) Laboratory, ideally in the Biopharm or related industry.
Strong appreciation of current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) principles and methods.
Demonstrated experience of managing and presenting QC laboratory systems and procedures to internal audit groups, regulatory agencies and third party Quality groups.
Demonstrated experience of managing the CAPA process following audits and after planned changes and unplanned events.
You will have strong investigative, problem solving and decision making skills, demonstrated within a QA role.
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - with the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner in order to support project activity and audits.
