Life Science Sales & Marketing Executive

Our client is an innovative biotech organisation are looking for a Sales & Marketing Executive to join their growing team in Yorkshire. They provide a range of products and services to clients operating within the pharm/Biotech, Clinical and Personal Care markets. This role will be responsible for identifying, prioritising and pursuing new and existing business opportunities via marketing and sales activities. The successful candidate will generate ideas and approaches that will help develop customer relationships and generate sales. The role will have a balance of technical detail, sales, marketing, commercial activities and requires a detailed focused, dedicated and driven Life Scientist with an entrepreneurial spirit. This role is expected to grow with the individual and with the inevitable changes and development of the business.

DUTIES:

• Achieve sales and identify prospects in accordance with agreed sales targets.

• Identify and develop customer contacts

• Manage full customer sales cycle

• Maintain in contact with clients to secure repeat business

• Network at industrial events and conferences to identify leads and prospective new business opportunities

• Develop, implement and manage effective and innovative marketing and communications plan(s).

• Develop the company’s online & social media approach aligning it with the overall marketing strategy.

• Manage, update and oversee the development of the company website.

• Support business development processes through production of client presentations and providing marketing input as required.

• Plan coordinate and manage events such as trade shows, conferences, client and partner events etc.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• BSc degree in Life sciences

• Previous experience in sales and marketing environment (ideally in a life science sector).

• Good interpersonal and negotiation skills and an ability to work with customers.

• Self-starter & target driven

• Interest in learning

• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels

• Creative, with innovative ideas
