An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Shift Electrician with experience in manufacturing for the 4 on 4 off shift (2 - 12 hour days, 2 - 12 hour nights, 4 days off) Reporting to the Electrical Engineer Leader and working within the Maintenance Cell, the Shift Electrician will take full responsibility for ensuring maximum availability of production plant across the Sourcing Unit.
As the Shift Electrician you will be responsible for:
*Keep plant running efficiently and safely to maximum capacity through good standards of maintenance and fault finding skills.
*Good knowledge and experience of PLC Software/Hardware to find faults and make improvements.
*Repair and capture appropriate details of Breakdowns.
*Ensure serviceable items are always available and support of maintenance where appropriate.
*Have professional communication with operations cells
*The key measure of success in this role is the successful achievement of performance targets (KPI's) defined in the Scorecard- Maintenance development support, tag rates, engineering change and OEE Support.
To be successful in the role of Shift Electrician you will have the following skills and experience:
*Electrical Engineering (Time served apprenticeship NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
*City and Guilds 2382 (17th Edition Wiring Regulations)
*Siemens PLC S7 Service (Siemens STEP 5 an advantage)
*Experience of diagnostics for Motors, Variable Speed Drives & Servo's.
*PLC hardware/software, Profibus, HMI, Industrial Communications.
*Control and instrumentation.
*COMPEX EX01 - EX04 (ATEX Hazardous Area training) an advantage
*3 years within an FMCG environment
*IOSH Managing Safely
*First aid - Electrical specific
