Jason Johal is currently recruiting for a Junior Immuno-oncology Scientist to join an established Research company focused on the discovery and development of antibody therapeutics in the immunology area. Based in Hertfordshire within easy commuting distance of Cambridge and London this role is offered on a full time permanent basis.
Research will be focused on the development of novel therapeutics in the immune-oncology area. The purpose is to discover and develop innovative immune-therapies that will change the course of cancer. The Research team are driven by their passion for patient health and a quest for innovation.
As a Junior Immuno-Oncology Scientist you will implement and improve cellular immuno-oncology experiments and models for lead discovery and determine the mode of action of their novel monoclonal antibodies.
The successful candidate must have experience in assay development and validation, immunology, tissue culture, purifying blood cells and immunoassays gained either in academia or an industrial research environment.
Experience in working with therapeutic antibodies and/or in cancer research would be highly advantageous.
