Senior Account Executive

An expanding Medical Communications agency is looking for a Senior Account Executive to assume responsibility for a number of assigned projects; supporting clients, coaching junior colleagues and making proactive and confident decisions.
You will be utilising effective project management skills to manage timelines, arrange meetings and drive all account processes so experience and confidence in problem solving and managing internal and external collaborators is key.
Experience within an Accounts team is essential as is an understanding of local and international regulations and basic skills in new business development. Excellent organisational skills and a strong attention to detail is crucial.
This is a brilliant opportunity for the successful candidate to be part of a supportive team in one of the leading global research, educational and professional MedComms agencies.

Role / Description
Main Job Responsibilities:
*Attend and arrange internal/external meetings including travel arrangements, refreshments and meeting material.
*Help manage/coach junior team members.
*Ensure resources are available ahead of time.
*Keep track of budget and costing trackers, sourcing accurate quotes from suppliers.
*Build knowledge of the current clients and therapy areas and seek out new business.
*General administration tasks including filing, photocopying, archiving.
Candidate Requirements:
*An understanding of the industry local and international regulations.
*A high level of competence with Microsoft Office packages as well as Zinc/Mercury/GCMA.
*Excellent presentation skills.
*Effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
*Basic business development skills.
*Strong attention to detail and high organizational skills.
