Sarah Farrow is recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join a global leader in the development and commercialisation of cell and gene therapies covering a Northern UK based territory on a permanent basis. The company are taking products into early clinical trials and provide clinical, technical, manufacturing and regulatory expertise to their external partners, along with access to the NHS.
The purpose of the role is to identify and transact deals to secure joint collaborative R&D grants and fee for service revenue. You will be responsible for developing relationships with academic and industrial partners ensuring a flow of high quality projects to be serviced by operational teams. You will effectively map your territory, identifying potential accounts and technology gaps which the company can address.
To be considered for the position you should be an experienced business development professional, with proven account management skills. You should have experience of technology transfer in an academic or innovative environment, and have worked on grant supported R&D collaborations. You should be qualified to a minimum of BSc level, and ideally PhD level in a relevant life sciences discipline.
